Help - Specialities

When you start the game, you will be an "Amateur". As you level up, however, you will be allowed to choose specialities, once at level 10, and again at level 20.

Every 2nd level, you may choose a new Knowledge to learn. The Knowledges available depend on your specialities.

Level-10 Specialities

  • Adventurer - Adventurers may become Argonauts, Rangers, or Scoundrels.
  • Mystic - Mystics may become Illusionists, Parapsychologists, Rangers, or Sorcerers.
  • Scientist - Scientists may become Engineers, Parapsychologists, or Surveyors.
  • Trader - Traders may become Entrepreneur, Illusionists, Scoundrels, or Surveyors.

Level-20 Specialities

  • Argonaut - Only Adventurers may become Argonauts.
  • Entrepreneur - Only Traders may become Entrepreneurs.
  • Illusionist - Only Mystics and Traders may become Illusionists.
  • Inventor - Only Scientists may become Inventors.
  • Parapsychologist - Only Mystics and Scientists may become Parapsychologists.
  • Ranger - Only Adventurers and Mystics may become Rangers.
  • Scoundrel - Only Adventurers and Traders may become Scoundrels.
  • Sorcerer - Only Mystics may become Sorcerers.
  • Surveyor - Only Scientists and Traders may become Surveyors.

"Secret" Specialities

The following specialities must be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions which are left to you to discover!

  • Monk - Only Mystics may become Monks.
  • Ninja - Only Mystics and Adventurers may become Ninjas. (UNIMPLEMENTED)
  • Summoner - Anyone may become a Summoner. (UNIMPLEMENTED)
  • Time Traveller - Anyone may become a Time Traveller.
